The Stand is a monthly newspaper that covers the South Side of Syracuse. While writing for The Stand, I wrote about topics such as homelessness, prison reform and education.

Nonprofit Unchained coordinates justice system accountability project

Unchained, a prison reform group based in Syracuse, NY, implemented a new court-watched project to end cash bail in New York State. For this story, I interviewed those involved with the organization and other reform groups in Syracuse, people who have been or are currently incarcerated.
